Dr. Taggart Top 10 Most Frequently Asked Questions Answered:

Our mission is to empower practice members to make healthy and informed decisions regarding their health. We also strive to serve, love, heal and transform beyond your greatest expectations. We are dedicated to changing the prevailing worldview form one that sees human begins as helpless victims of ill-health and life experiences into the awareness that we are uniquely created  to be vibrant, well and wholly capable of great things. I am honored that you are taking the time to investigate our office on your journey toward health and well-being.

1. What is Chiropractic?

Chiropractic is the science, art and philosophy of locating and correcting vertebral subluxations through specific, gentle chiropractic adjustments thus allowing the body to function at its optimum potential.

2. What is an adjustment?

A specific, non-invasive “thrust” delivered by a hand held instrument or a thrust delivered by hand which called a “Manual Adjustment.” It’s fast and non-painful. The purpose of the adjustment is to remove nerve interference in you body.

3. Will my adjustment hurt?

A hand-held instrument, delivers a thrust at one-ten thousandth of a second so all you will feel is a little “thump.” We have adjusted our own children since they were only a few weeks old. We adjust numerous practice members ranging in age from one-month to ninety-five years old. We also employ manual adjustments which are safe, gentle and they feel good too!

4. Can you help my sick child?

Probably, however, we do not label and treat diseases. We are a center for well-being. We DO address the underlying imbalances that CAUSE disease and discomfort in both the body and mind.

5. How many times do I have to come?

Each practice member is unique on every level; therefore, it is virtually impossible for us to know exactly how many adjustments you will need to hit each of your health goals. However, one truth we do know is that your goals and expectations have 100% to do with the number of times you visit us.

6. Will I feel better after getting adjusted?

We are not focused on treating disease, but rather on enhancing the healing potential of all practice members. There are numerous scientific studies that document that those receiving chiropractic care experience a 200% increase in immune-competence (stronger immune system) as well as a host of other benefits including: increased energy and stamina, increased metabolism, increased mental acuity, greater ability to cope with stress and much more. The importance is on quality of life rather than on disease outcomes. We have a saying around our office, “How you are felling is not always congruent with how you are healing.” We are dedicated to your greatest goals. We are honored to be your wellness-directed lifestyle “coach.”

7. Will Chiropractic care be expensive?

Considering the benefits, the experience at LWC, the all inclusiveness of our services, and the cost of providing you with the best health care, our fees are very reasonably priced and offer priceless value! Over 75% of our practice members choose to enroll in our Family Year Care Plan. It makes cared very affordable for the whole family. Ask us for details.

8. What services do you offer?

We offer State-of-the-art chiropractic care including diagnostic SEMG and X-ray. Adjustments utilizing the Instrument and manually-delivered by hand, myofascial release with the percussor  instrument,  spinal rehabilitative exercises to correct loss of proper curvature  and faulty posture, nutritional testing and supplements, FREE weekly health talks, stress management, and a community to encourage and support you on your journey towards well-being.

9. How long will it take to get adjusted?

Even the busiest practice members commit to making chiropractic care a priority in their lives. Your adjustment will take 3-5 minutes. If however, you want to schedule extra time, on-on-one with one of the doctors to talk about a particular issue, just ask and we will schedule appropriately.

10. What if I fell fine; do I need to keep coming back?

That’s always up to you. However, it has been our experience that those who stop care when they are “feeling fine” return with the same problem, only it’s usually worse. On the other hand, those that commit to regular care find their problem rarely returns; as well they enjoy a higher quality of life and health.
