Emotional

Physical pain/dysfunction can be triggered by emotional stress. Science has proven that emotions influence our cellular physiology. It's human nature to have an emotional response to significant events in our lives and then return to our "normal" state of being. However, sometimes the body holds onto stress and it gets locked into the nervous system and can become part of the cellular memory of the body. When this occurs it is termed a neuro-emotional complex (N.E.C.).

Eventually, negative emotions (conscious or unconscious) may manifest as a spinal subluxation, specific muscle weakness and/or meridian imbalance. The net result is ill health. Fortunately there is a very effective non talk it out therapy call Neuro-Emotional Technique that can break the connection between the body's physical reaction to mental stress with a specific spinal correction.
