Healing Techniques & Methods

Dr. Taggart uses a variety of methods to correct subluxation from hands on adjusting to low force instrument adjusting. He is a certified Pettibon System Doctor with special training in correcting postural problems and rehabilitating the spinal soft tissues. For More Information feel free to check out www.pettiboninstitute.org.

Dr. Taggart is a certified Applied Kinesiologist (muscle testing) and uses this technique to evaluate the three interferences to optimum health: Structural interference (subluxation), biochemical or nutritional imbalance and emotional (mind-body) interference.

Your First Visit

During your first visit Dr. Taggart will discuss your reason for consulting our office and perform a chiropractic examination to determine the appropriateness of chiropractic care for you.  If subluxation is found there are two things that Dr. Taggart will recommend to ensure that you get the best results possible.  First, the doctor will take spinal x-rays of the involved areas (if appropriate) to see the condition of the spine.  Second, you will be scheduled for our report of findings where Dr. Taggart will explain your examination findings and his recommendations for you.

Our office offers three levels of care:

Initial Intensive Care - This care is your beginning phase of care and is designed to get you to the point where you notice positive change and for your spine to stabilize.

Corrective/Reconstructive Care

- This care is designed to get maximum change in the spine and to get the spine to re-grow and remodel properly again.  It is also designed to heal the ligamentous tissues.

Wellness Care - Once you have achieved maximum correction of your spine and nerve system, wellness care will allow you to stay subluxation-free and have your body to continue to function at optimum levels.
